MEET ME IN ST LOUIS

Besides the Baseball Cardinals, fine restaurants, the St. Louis Zoo and other attractions, here are two more reasons for out-of-town bridge players to book a stay in St. Louis.

2.   The St. Louis Regional will be held from August 13 – 19, 2018 at the St. Louis Renaissance Airport Hotel, 9801 Natural Bridge.  Major changes have been made to events and times from format of prior years.  Here are the details:

• Evening Events at 7 PM

• 299er I/N Pairs All Sessions Mon - Sat 

• Three Gold Rush Pairs (0-750) & A/X Pairs on Tues, Thurs, & Fri

Phillip Alder Seminar

St. Louis Bridge Center will welcome back Phillip Alder for a three-part seminar Friday and Saturday, June 15 and 16. Mr. Alder is a renowned educator, former NY Times bridge columnist, and current monthly contributor to the ACBL Bridge Bulletin. The seminar topics for the two days are:

• How to Defeat More Contracts (Friday, June 15, 2-4:30 pm)

• Make Your Pre-empts Effective, and Theirs Ineffective  (Saturday, June 16, 9:30 am - noon)

• Double Your Bridge Fun with Doubles (Saturday, June 16, 1:00-3:30 pm)

Senior Olympics Duplicate Bridge

Seniors (50+) who play duplicate bridge are eligible once again to play in the Senior Olympics at the St. Louis Bridge Center. The event will take place on Friday, May 25^th at 2:30 pm. 

Registration deadline is May 18 if duplicate bridge is your only event. Otherwise earlier deadline. Click here to read more about and to register.
